1. JOB PURPOSE: To ensure safe operation of the coastal locations, optimization of operational costs and minimize losses during receipt and dispatch to achieve overall profitability of the organisation 2. SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE A. Educational Qualifications & Certifications: ⨀ Bachelor of Engineering /MBA B. Relevant (Functional/Level) & Total Years of Experience: ⨀ Relevant Experience: 12-15 years of experience in handling Oil Terminal out of which minimum 02 years in handling coastal terminal and receipt/loading of vessel C. Functional Skills: ⨀ SAP SD and MM module ⨀ Understanding of Oil Industry Manuals like IQCM,MDG, Product Acceptance etc ⨀ Transportation practices in oil industry and statutory requirements. ⨀ Handling of Vessels ⨀ Awareness of Port functioning, chartering, sea transportation D Behavioral Skills: ⨀ Ownership ⨀ Nurturing ⨀ Project Management ⨀Negotiation skills ⨀Customer Focus 3. KEY CHALLENGES ⨀ Ensuring timely supply of product to growing demand of various direct/retail customers with hired infrastructure ⨀ Keeping ocean loss as well as terminal handling loss under control through minimisation of product loss at various stages of movement/storage/idling/loading. ⨀ Maximisation of utilisation of vessel through minimum detention and faster loading without compromising safety and documentation. ⨀ Delivery of product through transporter's TT movements without malpractices/irregularities ⨀ Ensuring safe operations and personal safety at locations 4. ACCOUNTABILITY & RESPONSIBILITIES: ACCOUNTABILITY 1 Optimization of Coastal Operations ⨀ To ensure optimization of utilization of coastal hired facilities ⨀ Close monitoring of losses (ocean/discharge/day to day operation) and ensuring proactive actions to minimize them. ⨀ Close monitoring of time taken wrt idling, berthing, discharge, release/sailing of vessels to optimize various port charges and improve turnaround time of vessels. ⨀ Ensuring day to day dispatches from hired terminal as per projections/linkages for Retail, Direct and other customers from coastal locations of the zone and materialisation of day to day indents in time. ⨀ Close coordination with terminal operators, port authority, QC laboratory and vessel to ensure timely berthing/discharge/removal of vessel. ⨀ Ensuring availability of required product at locations in time ⨀ Assessing requirement of own/terminal resources to ensure proactive a
