Job Responsibilities-: 1.Functions as a responsible member of the local management for safe and efficient operation of the plant. 2. Co-ordinate & cooperate with the interfacing department to ensure "Safe Work Environment throughout the factory. 3. Provides a "safe work procedure" to the concerned employees and ensures that approved Permit to work system. 4. Ensure that Safety and Fire Fighting system is always kept in fit condition with periodical checks/ inspection & maintenance as per the approved procedure. Also ensure that the required spares and accessories are available and accessible always. 5. Extends full support to and co-operate with management representatives to ensure that the requirements covered under ISO-9001, 14001 & OSHA18001 regulations are always complied with. 6. Take initiatives in the matter of Safety and Health with an objective to upgrade the standards of Process and Plant Safety and support Occupational Safety initiatives by conducting plant visits, imparting training and generation various checklists/ standards in line with global procedures/policies. 7. Evaluating and conducting risk assessment through MoC Procedure and Monthly Monitoring of MOC status. 8. Planning, coordination & conducting A3/A3-R and A4/A4-R reviews along with P&PS practitioners and ensuring that required up-to-date and accurate process safety information (e. g. P&IDs, safety-relevant material data, technical equipment data, etc.) are compiled by the responsible disciplines is available. Maintaining a complete overview list of required safety reviews at their site or plant by updating Asset and Process Master File 9. Supporting, coordinating and tracking of process safety performance indicators at a site or plant level 10.Supporting, coordinating and tracking of follow-up actions items from safety reviews, audits, incident investigations, and global initiatives and ensure timely compliance 11.Supporting PPS incident and near miss reporting and investigation 12.Serving as a PPS primary point of contact for a site or plant for PPS related topics. 13.Providing site support during PPS audits and assessments, and 14.Supporting, coordinating, tracking, and conducting PPS trainings 15.Support to conduct Site level Mock Drills, Promotional activities, maintaining site near miss reports and coordinating with other departments for compliance. Experience Required: 2-4 years
