Job Title: Data Engineer

Role Summary:

We are seeking a Data Engineer who will facilitate the creation and maintenance of our database systems. The candidate will have strong skills in SQL Python Azure Databricks and data warehousing solutions. They will interface with various stakeholders including business partners architects QA and BIAs from other projects and will be responsible for developing and optimizing our data architecture as well as ensuring data quality and integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with BIAs and QAs to understand and meet project requirements.
• Design create and maintain scalable reliable data pipelines to move data across a variety of systems.
• Investigate and resolve database errors as well as log and track these issues in coordination with the QA team.
• Develop and maintain database architecture data processing systems and perform database optimization.
• Engage in data mapping and data modelling ensuring functional aspects of the data align with team expectations and business needs.
• Interface with various stakeholders to communicate data needs and translate these into technical requirements.
• Monitor infrastructure to ensure availability and communicate status s to the team.
• Review requirements and create test cases to ensure data integrity and quality.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies contribute to overall project management and ensure compliance with Everest processes.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Data Engineer.
• Technical proficiency in SQL Python and Azure Databricks.
• Experience in data warehousing solutions and ETL tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with diverse teams and handle multiple projects concurrently.
• Experience in an Agile work environment.
• Understanding of data privacy and governance.
• Familiarity with JIRA for tracking issues.
• Experience with data visualization tools would be a plus.
