Job Description

Role & Responsibilities

  • Build the brand vision & translate that into communication across touch points.
  • Exceptionally good communication skills - the ability to articulate marketing briefs,
    business problems & at times also creative headlines!
  • Should be able to distill consumer insights, extremely curious & willing to do
    first-hand consumer research by directly speaking to them
  • Have a knack for understanding what works in social media space, should be able
    to identify and work with multiple content creators
  • Have the ability to manage/oversee marketing agencies & get the best work out of
    them in the most cost-effective way - Digital, advertising, PR, and Social media
    agencies
  • The person should have a working understanding of performance marketing &
    should be able to analyze creative assets ability to deliver a certain CTR/ROAS for
    us.
  • Identify & build an in-house team for content creation & get the job done from them
    - video editing, shoots, graphic designing, etc.
  • An extremely frugal mindset to optimise budgets, and negotiate well & yet
    continuously think of scaling up.
  • Ability to spot social trends, and viral content possibilities, enjoys thinking afresh &
    builds on team ideas.
  • Should have design sensibilities, ability to think from consumer POV & be the voice
    of the consumer in the team
  • It would be a bonus if the person indulges in content creation for himself.

Education/Experience

Qualifications

  • We don't go by qualifications, if you can demonstrate to us the above
    competencies we are good to go. If qualifications play a role in believing us that
    you could deliver well on the above responsibilities then sure tell us about your
    degrees
  • 2-3 years of work experience in a similar space would be good but not essential,
    freshers are welcome too.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset is critical
  • The person should be willing to take on the challenges of a very early-stage
    start-up.
  • 1-4 years of relevant experience, preferably in the D2C space or digital agencies

  • Hands-on experience in both performance marketing and social media marketing

  • A strong “hustler” mindset - someone who is willing to get their hands dirty across operations, content, and strategy

  • Ability to work in a lean, fast-paced startup environment

  • Male candidates based in Mumbai are preferred
