Kamya Hastakala invited applications for the below-mentioned position Merchandise Manager Experience:- 5 to 10 years Roles & Responsibilities:- Determining sources for purchase of Indian handicraft, ethnic, cultural, artistic, natural or organic products from across the country. Tendering attitude towards regular product sources & development. Creative ability to merchandise & arranging the items as per need. Strategizing, planning and executing for preservation/logistics/ warehousing of the items. Regular & Increased engagement with potential customers/sources in the locale. Synchronize with various institutions for research and development of the items / future items. Planning & coordinating the costing, quality, and quantity of the items. Manages commercials and suppliers for the best deal and delivery of items. Attainment of business as per planning and co-ordination with the Retail store managers, Retail Operations head and other stakeholders. Develop local sources for conducting general market research in various categories of items as well as research into potential suppliers/resources of product specifications Analysis and Survey for items supplier/traders analysis evaluate potential suppliers/traders. Ability to manage time-bound sampling and approval for items. Ability to manage negotiation & agreement and closing the commercial deal.
