Qualification Bachelor in Engineering (Mechanical/ Electrical) Experience Min 3 years in Oil & Gas Industry Salary Compatible Job Location Ahmedabad Job Profile Build technical scope of supply/ scope of work, technical specifications for goods and services, Bill of material, cost estimation for procurement related to compressor installations and Gas Dehydration Units (GDU). Responsible for complete technical part of the procurement process related to design review, material specification as per applicable codes of oil & gas industry like ASTM, BIS, API, IS etc. for all compressor sites and GDU. Carry out technical evaluation of the bids for procurement of goods and services for compressor and GDU Co-coordinating with sites of finalizing the requirement and providing the technical details to P&C department. Vendor qualification and development Vendor/ Contractor visits for technical discussion and site inspection. Skill Required: Good understanding of mechanical, chemical and electrical equipments used at gas compressor and GDU sites such as gas compressors, heat exchangers, chillers, valves, instrumentation, Joules-Thomson Unit, pipelines, generators etc. Good understanding of codes and standards for mechanical, chemical & electrical equipment used in oil & gas industries Must be willing to travel as required for supporting the Company business. Must be able to work both as part of a team or independently. Must have the ability to manage multiple projects. Must have fluent English language ability. Position will report to Engineering/ Project Head – Compressor Department
