RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES (FUNCTIONAL):- To repair and maintain plant and machinery in good working conditions to enable the production department to optimize production both quality and quantity wise To maintain Building , structure and road in good conditions To execute projects in coordination with the project / purchase department To carry out modification in the plant to improve yields and take care of new products To maintain inventory of engineering items in coordination with the stores department To inspect all incoming engineering items supplied by Sub-contractors for maintenance To plan and execute yearly / monthly preventive maintenance schedule of all critical equipment To interact with external agencies to carry our repairs and maintenance job and ensure that they are carrying out the job at our site after complying with the all statutory requirements To comply with the provisions of the Bombay Electricity Duty Act, 1958 and also arrange annual electrical inspection by The Assistant Inspector of Electricity, Bharuch and to comply with the remarks of inspection To appoint Energy Auditor and carry out Energy Audit as per statutory requirement and submit the energy audit report to the concerned authority To carry out testing and inspection of Hoist, Lifts, Lifting machines / tackles, Pressure Vessels and Plants, Thickness tests of vessels of and also arrange to get Stability Certificate of all building and structures Liaoning with the office of the Assistant Electrical Duty Inspector, Electrical Inspector, GEB Industrial Division / Sub-Division (O&M), Ankleshwar and Gujarat Gas , Ankleshwar / Bharuch and to ensure compliance of the respective Statutory authority Responsible for Material planning, Indenting, Releasing of Job Work Order after proper planning Review of corrective and preventive action and ensure effectiveness of the above To implement recommendation of OPRM, EC, MR and Safety Committee To maintain residential premises owned by the company including the Guest House and Bachelor Accommodation To coordinate with the Production, ETP, Stores to ensure that the down time because of Electrical / Mechanical / Utility break downs are minimized and give necessary guidance to Officer - Mechanical / Utility / Electrical and all technical staff To ensure that all maintenance work are done with proper permits with a special note that HOT WORK are carried out under controlled conditions Experience Required: 10 - 15 year
