Job description:- Purpose: Plan, Organise, coordinate and monitor Mechanical and Reliability activities in the plant to achieve maximum availability of plant at optimum cost & monitor implementation of mechanical engineering related works within the time schedule & budgeted cost to meet the desired improvements. Well versed in maintenance, engineering and reliability of sand plant, utilities, cryogenic plant and regenerative type of furnace. Good exposure to working with Diesel Generator sets of 2.5 MW and above. Conversant with pumps, compressors, gearboxes, belt conveyors, fans, blowers, mills, etc. Job Requirement:- 1. Organize and monitor implementation activities for optimum plant availability of all equipment and machineries for Sand Plant, Float glass & Mirror Line to meet the targeted production and satisfaction of internal customers. 2. Plan, monitor & control the cost (spare, inventory, repairs & manpower) of mechanical maintenance and optimize maintenance costs within the budget. 3. Organize, coordinate & monitor execution & commissioning of small projects and major modifications works in time to achieve targeted results. 4. Identify, coordinate & monitor implementation of improvements, small projects in order to improve the availability and reduce cost of maintenance. 5. Organize & monitor implementation of standards set by the regulatory authorities under various acts like Safety, pollution etc to fulfil statutory requirements. 6. Build & sustain a conducive work culture by effective management of people to improve productivity, growth and motivation levels of employees to institutionalize best organizing practices in the unit 7. Plan, suggest and implement new projects and improvement initiatives as per management plan. 8.
