Position Summary:

This position will be part of the core development team working closely with various stakeholders to test functionality critical to our business success. This role will design, implement and execution manual and automation test cases and the relevant tools.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Tests software products with systematic procedures to develop, apply, and maintain quality standards for company products
• Working Definition, Implementation and Execution of all testing areas related to the product
• Develops, modifies, and executes software test cases
• Experience/Understanding in Logging/Tracking and verifying product defects
• Experience/Understanding of bug life cycle
• Ensuring successful bug fixes
• Maintains documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software
• Analyzes test results to ensure existing functionality and recommends corrective action
• Consults with development team and analysts in resolution of problems
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with various teams

Technical Skills:

• Must have knowledge in handling various Software Testing Tools
• Should have a thorough understanding of Software Development Lifecycle
• Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent communication skills and grasp of English language (Verbal, Written, and Technical Documentation)

Specialized Skills:

• Knowledge of STLC
• Knowledge of black box Testing

Professional Experience:

2-5 years experience in Manual Testing

Qualification:

Bachelors in computer science or equivalent
