Job Description Experience:- - 12 plus years of experience as reservoir/petroleum engineers with at least 7 plus in reservoir engineering and reservoir management. - Experience in reservoir management of chemical EOR, especially polymer flood - Strong simulation skill. CMG and STARS usage is preferable but experience with any simulator is fine. - Good knowledge of surface systems in large chemical EOR fields. Experience with any ASP pilot in the past is preferable. - Good knowledge of lab analysis techniques especially related to polymer floods and ASP. - Good knowledge of pressure transient analysis, production injection logging analysis - Experience in low permeability reservoirs - Working-level knowledge of artificial lift systems, production network modeling, and production allocation is preferable. - Good knowledge of the use of data analytics in oil and gas is preferable. Roles and expectation:- - Work polymer flood surveillance, monitoring, and data analysis to improve production rates and recovery factor. - Work with the subsurface team to improve the quality of reservoir models for the long term and short term predictions. - Identify production enhancement opportunities by working with subsurface, petroleum engineering, and operations team. - Work to achieve optimum polymer injection in the fields. Need to closely work with surface facilities team and laboratories. - Help in interpretation and design of pressure fall off, injection logging tests, pressure build-up tests, etc - Help in interpretation of RTA and PTA in low permeability reservoirs.
