KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES -Lead the Petroleum Engg set up of New Ventures unit (Onshore and Offshore Blocks) -Manage various stages of E&A lifecycle campaign including scoping, integrated partner selection, deployment and subsequently ensuring that execution objectives are met with -Fully understand the technicalities of PE related work for E&A well construction campaign -Provide overall technical insight and judgment on various technical matters, in PE domain -Play a pivotal role in conceptualizing the PE part of the Integrated PMC partner to deploy requisite governance and assurance processes -Critically assess new technology applications, and evaluate the scope for the technical optimization -Support the business unit for delivering early monetization (production) initiatives -Suggest and review for technically robust solutions for inclusion in the development plan, in the event of any discovery -Manage interface with key technical members of both external (Partners etc) and internal stakeholder teams (Subsurface, Exploration, Drilling, HSE etc) -Mentor junior team members, as and when required -Suggest training and development needs of staff members ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE -20+ years of proven experience in petroleum engineering operations during exploration, appraisal, development and abandonment phase -Bachelor’s degree in engineering. -Strong techno-commercial acumen -Proven experience working in a culturally diverse, multinational environment -Experience in establishing policies and procedures -Exposure to Sub Surface, Exploration, Development in offshore and onshore environment -Demonstrable track record of success in the function -Exposure to a various range of technologies either led a multi-function team or has been a senior member within such a team -Good understanding of the technical risks -Good experience in Well Testing, Well Completion, Artificial Lift and Well Stimulation including hydraulic fracturing -Basic understanding of Well Integrity DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE & SKILLS -Demonstrated technical acumen. Competent in design and operations in a wide range of completion types in various environments (land-based, offshore and subsea). -Knowledge of stimulation, well services and exploration well testing. -Ability to handle large amounts of complex information in a detailed and coordinated manner -Experience to work with a range of stakeholders -Can see the big picture as well as deal with the micro-detail -Exc
